The LEADER region Weinviertel-Manhartsberg comprises 24 municipals all part of the political district Hollabrunn and the municipal Röschitz in the district of Horn. In more detail, it is composed of the smaller regions Initiative Pulkautal, landscape park Schmidatal, Retzer area, Manhartsberg and the municipals Hollabrunn and its surrounding area.

The area is located in the Western Weinviertel in the northeast of Lower Austria and is characterized by its gentle hilly landscape and endless vineyards, romantic lanes with wine cellars (Kellergassen) and extensive cycling tracks.
